Ten Weave Commandments

Hey guys,

I thinks it has been a week or thereabout since I blogged last....don't worry haven't forgotten you guys.
So today i am briefly going to touch on the subject WEAVES and the "weave commandments"....I am going to keep this nice, simple and short...As you all know or mite know I have weave installed like 90% of the time and I usually keep them in for a maximum of 4 weeks. But I know people who carry their weave for a longer period than than....Its not a bad thing but once a weave is more than 6 weeks you need to reconsider.

This is strictly for ladies whose weave game is in need of  "SERIOUS HELP"....There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for ladies to walk around with matted fur on their heads.

A weave certainly looks good when it's well Maintained and CLEAN....what i mean by maintenance and cleanliness is using the right shampoo to wash the weave; co-washing is a quicker and easier method for cleaning your weave...even while its installed on your head...Its advisable to wash your weave once a week no matter how busy or occupied you are; find time to wash it to avoid it been greasy.

Don't just leave the weave in and leave it for 6 months because at the end of the day you going to end up with matted fur, smelly hair and an accidental weave, and the worst part of it is that your "FRIENDS" wont tell you that your weave smells.

So Here are my commandments or helpful tips:

1. Never let your tracks show (self-explanatory)

2. Always travel with your weave glue (or hair pins in case a track falls out)

3. Always pat your head when it’s itchy (patting won’t pull out the tracks or make your hair messy)

4. Never LIE and say “it’s all mine.”

5. Never make your weave too greasy (there’s nothing worse than a greasy weave, believe me)

6. Always travel with your brush (weave gets frizzy. Gotta keep it looking lush)

7. This rule is so overrated: keep your Remy and Yaki completely separated

8. Gel down your edges if they’re nappy (weave and nappy roots — that’s just tacky)

9. Nine should have been number 1 - ALWAYS know when to take out your weave!

10. Buy a wig just in case. If your hair is looking rough, put on a wig to cover it up.(This is what I always do and it works out great for me)

A quote for the day... "Its a fact that in the right formation the lifting power of many wings can achieve the distance of any bird flying alone"
Until next time
